Vipassana Meditation
Vipassana is one of the oldest forms of meditation in India. Vipassana means seeing things as they really are, also called insight meditation.
This meditation method was taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for overcoming suffering and as an art
of living. This technique, which is freely accessible to everyone and has nothing to do with religion or belief, aims to remove mental impurities. And thus complete liberation.
Vispassana meditation is about healing, but not just healing diseases. But their goal is the comprehensive healing of human suffering. Vipassana is about a way of self-change through self-observation. The focus is on the close interaction between body and mind. This correlation can be experienced in a direct way based on the physical sensations.
Vipassana meditation is mental training
In Vipassana meditation, you go on a journey to explore your body and mind and their interrelations. This gradually dissolves mental impurities and leads to a balanced mind full of love and compassion. The whole practice of Vipassana is mental training. Just as we do physical exercises to improve our physical health, Vipassana serves on the mental level to develop a healthy mind.
The natural laws that control our thinking, our feelings, our judgments and feelings become clear. Regular practice gives us direct experience. You can see how to make progress and when to fall back into old behavior patterns. Suddenly it becomes clear how to create suffering or get rid of it.
Your own life is self-determined: through increased mindfulness, seeing through illusion and deception, through greater self-control and inner Peace.
